Instructions for Use

When used as a dye on its own, the colour result is dark blue.

Radico Organic Indigo Leaf Powder can be mixed with Radico Organic Henna Powder, to obtain that has  a medium to dark brown shade. A rich black colour may be obtained by applying Radico Indigo Leaf Powder to hair dyed previously with Radico Organic Henna Powder. 

Note:

DO NOT bleach the hair after applying Indigo Powder. This may result in a greenish colour outcome.
Indigo requires about two days to give the maximum colour to shop on the hair. Therefore it is advised to not use any chemical based shampoos during this time as it may have an effect on the final colour outcome.
Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth and do not use on damaged skin.
Always perform a strand and allergy test before using the product.

How to Use HAIR TREATMENT Powder as a Shampoo

There are four ways that you can use powder to wash your hair as listed below.

 

Squeeze Bottle or Jug Method

This is the method I have mostly been using as I’ve found it the easiest.

Place 1-2 tsp of the powder into a squeeze bottle or jug.

Once you are in the shower and ready to wash your hair, mix it with the warm shower water and give it a good mix (or shake if using the squeeze bottle) and then pour it over your head. I used the squeeze bottle to better direct it onto my scalp.

Gently massage your scalp and leave it sitting for fa ew minute before rinsing out.

Give your squeeze bottle or jug a good rinse after using.

 

Shampoo Paste Method

Take 2 tsp of powder mixed with water to make a thick paste and use as shampoo paste, gently massage it onto the scalp and hair before rinsing.

 

Paste Mask 

Alternatively, you can apply this paste similar as you are applying the organic henna paste to your hair and scalp as a mask. Leave it on the hair for 30 minutes before rinsing out.

 

Tips:

• When used to prolong your hair treatment increase the application time to 20 TO 30 minutes – depending on the structure of your hair.
